Glad Tidings Story

Ministry Training

Glad Tidings is a place where you can be trained and equipped to serve others in ministry.

If you believe God has called you to full-time ministry, or if you simply want to grow in your biblical understanding to serve others better through ministry, additional ministry training may be the place for you! Glad Tidings hosts Intercultural Ministerial Studies, a series of Berea courses, offering Certified, Licensed and Ordained levels of learning through Global University. Upon completion of all three course levels, a student should possess the academic requirements to apply for Ordained Minister status in the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

As you grow in your ministry training, we encourage you to also grow in your serving. All applicants should be serving in a ministry team at Glad Tidings or whichever church you call home.

Used as a tool to simply deepen your understanding of the Bible and Christian living or to help you become a more effective volunteer in your ministry role, you will find these courses fulfilling that desire.

Intercultural Ministerial Studies is lead by Rev. William and Joan Kruger. Rev. Kruger served as a Professor of Theology at the American Indian College in Phoenix AZ. for six years. Rev. Kruger and his wife, Joan, have also served as pastors and missionaries abroad. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the classroom training environment.

If you would like to pursue self-study on your own, you can learn more about courses through Global University’s website. There is information about the required courses for each level of credentialing along with course descriptions.
